Privacy, cookies and how we get paid
The short version: the checklists save in your browser, not on our servers. We only get your email if you type it into the form and press send.
Who we are

What the tools store
The moving plan, the change-of-address checklist and your moving date are saved using your browser’s local storage. That data stays on your own device. It is not sent to us, we cannot read it, and clearing your browser data deletes it. You can wipe it at any time with the “Start again” button on the plan.
Cookies
We set no advertising or tracking cookies. Local storage, described above, is not shared with anyone. If we add analytics in future we will say so here first.
The checklist form
If you ask us to email you the checklist, the form sends your name, email address and optional moving date to us through Web3Forms, which passes it to our mailbox. We use it to send the checklist you asked for and, if you ask, an EPC quote. We do not add you to a marketing list, sell your details or share them with third parties. Ask us and we will delete the record.
External links
We link to GOV.UK, regulators, professional registers and suppliers. Once you follow a link you are on someone else’s site under their privacy policy, not ours.

Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to its use. Email carl@home-surveyors.com and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
