Who we are

This site is operated by My Home Survey Ltd (company number 06188019, registered in England and Wales), whose registered office is 7 Delaine Close, Bourne, Lincolnshire PE10 9LP. For any privacy question, email carl@home-surveyors.com or call 07979 601815.

What the tools store

The moving plan, the change-of-address checklist and your moving date are saved using your browser’s local storage. That data stays on your own device. It is not sent to us, we cannot read it, and clearing your browser data deletes it. You can wipe it at any time with the “Start again” button on the plan.

Cookies and analytics

We set no cookies. To understand which pages and tools are useful, we may use a cookieless analytics service (Plausible or Umami). It counts page views and a handful of named actions, such as downloading the PDF or following a link to book an EPC. It does not use cookies, does not store your IP address, does not follow you to other sites, and cannot identify you. Local storage, described above, is never sent to it.

Links to homesurvey.eu

Links to homesurvey.eu, also operated by My Home Survey Ltd, include campaign tags (for example utm_source=moving-house) so we can tell which page you came from. They contain no personal data. homesurvey.eu’s own privacy notice applies once you are there.

The checklist form

If you ask us to email you the checklist, the form sends your name, email address and optional moving date to us through Web3Forms, which passes it to our mailbox. We use it to send the checklist you asked for and, if you ask, an EPC quote. We do not add you to a marketing list, sell your details or share them with third parties. Ask us and we will delete the record.

External links

We link to GOV.UK, regulators, professional registers and suppliers. Once you follow a link you are on someone else’s site under their privacy policy, not ours.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to its use. Email carl@home-surveyors.com and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Everything on this site is general information for England and Wales. It is not legal, financial or tax advice. Rules differ in Scotland and Northern Ireland, and they change. Always check the official source, which is why we link to it.
